2011年,母语处中学华文课程组开发了一系列配合中学华文新教材的数码资源包括录音、录像、动画、互动式网络活动等（统称“数码教材”）。

在规划与制作数码教材时，我们除了要确保资源切合教材的教学重点，同时也力求资源在活动方式上的多元化。为了鼓励老师们使用资讯科技，培养学生的互动能力，新教材中所有的数码教材将会上传至教育部edumall2.0 ，供教师免费下载使用。

录像内容讲述德国少年汉斯来新加坡游玩，思杰和爸爸到樟宜机场接机。他们三人搭乘德士回家途中。思杰、爸爸和汉斯聊起了滨海艺术中心、新达城和怡丰城等地点。录像中，汉斯被问及想前往的地点时，针对相关景物的特点如形状构造、色彩等方面进行了描述。

Mother Tongue Languages Branch (Sec CL Unit) has implemented the new Sec CL instructional materials earlier this year. In order to leverage ICT and make learning more engaging, we have developed an array of ICT teaching resources to support schools in using the new instructional materials effectively. All our resources are available to teachers in edumall 2.0.

Sijie’s friend from Germany, Hans is here in Singapore for his summer vacation. Sijie and his father welcomed Hans at the airport. On their way home, they started to talk about places of interest in Singapore which Hans would like to visit during his stay such as the Esplanade and Suntec City.
